Health and Safety

Stanmore is deeply committed to the health and safety of our people, as reflected in our Mission Statement and guided by our Values. Our primary goal is to ensure that everyone returns home safe and healthy each day. This commitment underscores the importance of safety leadership and engagement and applies to all our employees and contractors.

The focus on safety leadership and the engagement of our people, contractors and local communities, provides a culture that strives to meet our goal of everybody returning home each day, safe and healthy.

Our teams participate in critical training programs that ensure our health and safety culture awareness remains at the forefront of our operations. This includes the promotion of a range of safety initiatives to drive better safety performance, including proacting risk manage strategy through our Leading Safety Program and independent compliance and effectiveness audits.

We have also implemented health and wellness initiatives to provide ongoing support to our workforce, including financial incentive programs, subsidised local area housing for the contractor workforce and a paid parental leave scheme for all Stanmore employees.

Our Employee Assistance Program is also provided to Stanmore employees by industry-experienced provider Telus Health, as well as a corresponding service for contractors.
